Merry belated Christmas!

One by one, everyone in my family went down, and at about 1 pm on Christmas Eve, I did, too. Feeling really sick. Worst Christmas of my life. Just came to, more or less, to see Nick Foles lead the Bears to a win.

I'm such a big Christmas guy that I am usually really depressed on the day after, but I'm fighting that off now so that next year will be a blowout! We should have a Christmas (Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, anything you got, we'll do it up) get-together in early December next year.

Happy New Year!

I had a good 2021 (besides Christmas). It's been a while.

Just a marvelous two days! Really, a wonderful month as we did a lot of Christmas events and had a few parties over the last six weeks. After things being altered last year, it was really nice to get back to normal and have a lot of fun and family time this season. It really is/was the best time of the year. I was pretty lit but I am not ashamed to say that on Christmas night about 11pm after everybody had left, I got a pretty emotional hearing my son talk about the party being over and how there were no more presents left to open. The Holidays were so fun with him this year. I've always loved Christmastime but this year it was just taken up about a thousand notches because of him.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. For those that were effected by Covid, I hope you and/or your relatives fully recover very soon.

I should also add that of the 13 adults I saw over the two days, 11 were fully vaccinated. A few of the younger kids had some really nasty coughs, but were negative for Covid as of Thursday morning. I thought it was very responsible of all of the parents to get the kids that had coughs tested just in case.

In case they had Covid, NardiRoadRod. With a cough being the premier symptom of Covid, I appreciate that two sets of parents had their kids tested before coming into my home to celebrate Christmas.

Nardi literally gave his Christmas guests Ivermectin because he was so worried about COVID so it's strange he would ask "In case of what?".

I was thankful there were NFL games on and not just NBA, which has traditionally owned Christmas.

It's nice to be asymptomatic. Win/win.

In a matter of hours or days you will be exposed anyway. It's going through the population like shit through a goose.

Here's the problem as I see it. There's a 35-60% chance that Frank will never know if he's been exposed and will continue to thank people who are out getting tested for his benefit.

The problem is that it is 0% of concern of yours or VaxxedBob when people who actually have a Covid symptom decide for themselves to get a test before gathering at a Holiday.

I could be like you and hand out "Mectrin" like its Halloween candy, but instead I'll continue to live normally without taking or stockpiling a needless medicine day in and day out.

Apology wasn't needed, but thanks. I just thought it was a smart move that the parents made on their own, rather than show up with three kids coughing all over the place on xmas. That's all. Two of the coughs were kind of 'meh' but one kid really sounded brutal.

What kind of nutjob demands little kids be tested because they live their life in paranoid fear over a bad cold.

Probably the same kind of nutjob who can't read and says he will never get vaccinated then runs out and does just that the very first chance he gets.

I wonder if those parents wouldve went out and had their kids tested for the flu had this scenario unfolded 3 years ago.

I guess the vaccine isn't that effective if you are such a scared pussy you think an 8 year old coughing near you is going to put you in the grave. I truly pity you.

You're simply making things up. Either you're too stupid to read what I posted in this thread, or you've got such a hard on for coming after me that you don't even realize when you make yourself look like a fool.

How are those Cardinals doing btw?

That's what I don't get. Why is it ok for them to be spreading whatever illness it is making them cough? As long as it is not Covid spread away?

Are you two saying it would be acceptable three years ago to attend Christmas with symptoms that strongly resemble the flu?

Would it be like you walk in the door, start coughing everywhere, and the host says "You ok?" and you say "Well, I'm pretty sure we have the flu. We've been sick all week. When do we eat?".

It was accepted by many back then. So much for Jordan's "flu" game.

Well hopefully "I'm actively sick with the flu" is a good reason to stay at home on Christmas and eat Chinese food is one of the silver linings of the pandemic then.

No, that's not what I'm saying. Actually I am saying the opposite.

It's possible I misread badrogue's post, but it seemed like he is saying they wouldn't have cared if they possibly had the flu 3 years ago. If he meant that 3 years ago they would have called and said "We have the flu and we are staying home" then I apologize.
