What it shows is that much of the police vs citizen stuff is more a class than racial issue……as Nas noted many of these encounters include racial minorities among the officer core.

I'm trying to figure out why they're hyping up the brutality of this video. I suppose since it's the police saying this it's their opportunity to distance themselves from the perpetrators. Still seems counterintuitive if you're also asking people not to riot. Just feeding into that bloodlust.

I dunno. Somebody died. The only way that happens during a beating is if the guy is literally beaten to a pulp and sent to death's door right there on the street, or gets clobbered in the head and is knocked out right then.
