Mine was enjoyable. Drove up to Southfield, MI with my girl to see some of her family. Came back last night. Didn't even see the Bears game, as her uncle kept the channel on the AFC games. I obviously didn't miss anything.

Friday was probably the saddest day I've had since 9/11. Honestly I was probably more upset about Friday then I was 9/11 because of being a parent now. 5 mins after I heard about the killings I got rear ended by a 74 year old man that was literally begging me not to call the police because he didn't have insurance or a license. So basically I was going to eat all the damage on the accident. I was pissed and I called the cops anyways. The cops came and arrested him and I felt numb.

Sunday spent all day at the hospital with the wife.

This year has been the greatest year of my life and probably one of the most difficult as well.

Actually, this was my first trip up to Michigan but when the weather improves, I'll definitely keep that in mind. We're always looking for new stuff to do.

She had a bad reaction to something she ate. She's allergic to different types of fruit so we think it's something like that. I thought it was kidney stones for a 3rd time in 3 years but it wasn't. She's back home now but not feeling great.
