This is really interesting. beni hanna got just 14 votes in initial voting and has just 5 now, yet he got 34 when there was a tie-breaker with me. It shows the impact I have on this board. The tremendous number of additional votes, were actually votes against me, more than they were votes for beni hanna. It proves how much I do inspire people to action on this board....how much of an influence I have. Very interesting.....not a surprise to me at all.

I do get the wrestler angle. The people that post as "themselves" on a message board, but think of themselves as professional wrestling heels, are fools. They are mocked accordingly. They also tend to develop victim scenarios. After that, they defend those victim scenarios. Ultimately, they are always thinking about themselves. Wrestling heels made money, and they were a character. Message board heels lack character, and win fake steak dinners.

Right. As Darkside said, that's what little kids need. There was a kid in my Fifth Grade class that got a new digital watch. He would set an alarm to go off, only to annoy the other kids. It would go for twenty seconds, and everyone would yell. He would smile afterwards. He didn't know how to properly associate with others, but he got that attention. I felt bad for him, even at age ten.

Your thinking is way off here.

You got 14 votes in the initial poll, but only got 8 in the runoff. That is a dropoff of about 40%. That means that 40% of the people who thought you were in the top 10 chose beni. That puts Beni up to 20 votes(his initial 14 votes, plus 6 people who chose him over you). That leaves 14 votes left. Those are likely people that simply chose other people in the poll. With 56-100 people voting in the initial vote, this means that 28-72 people were available. It's easily explainable that 14 of those people would choose beni over you.

All that poll means is that people rightfully think beni is a better poster than you. The lower numbers for beni in the initial thread simply means that there were other favorites.

So no, you had it reversed. You LOST 40% of the people who voted for you when against one person. That is your impact.
