"I'm with the DUI offenders, and the guys in my tent are all nice guys," Grace said. "We sit around, and BS a little bit, tell stories, hang out. Guys start fading around 8 or 8:30, and there's only one thing on your mind once that happens: How am I going to stay warm? You can only wear so many layers."
He reports every night at 6 p.m., and is released 12 hours later. Yes, he gets to go to Spring Training everyday.
So he has to sleep outside every night for 3 months basically.
Classification Unit conducts background checks on inmates before they are
housed in the tents so that dangerous or predatory individuals
are not placed there.
