He'd be a part timer somewhere.

Don't "Uh?" me, pal.

Meat may very well be a sensitive, prissy bitch of a queen 60% of the time but even with that he is better than Larry Holmes 90% of the time.

So take a step back from the ledge, shift the paradigm and set a new course.

If we were drafting people to hang out with, Id take Laurence for sure.

Meat is a bitch. A jerk. He's not funny, but he thinks he is. He's not insightful but he thinks he is and he's not in a real band, but he thinks he is.

Laurence might be a tad akward, but Spiegel is worse than Hitler.

The hangout thing is a toss up, I'm sure Meat still smokes weed so that tilts in his direction....I used to collect comics so I'm torn.

Meat needs to take a chill pill and stop trying to prove that he is "things" to other people...you can sometimes smell the desperation. I still think he is better than Larry.

As far as hanging out with one of them? Laurence by far. Most people have some non-conventional things they like and for him its comics. I highly doubt that is the focal point of his conversations with people. The Bears players seem to find him alright. Peanut seems to like him from their many times together on the air.

Meat seems like he is a high maintenance female...and a bad one at that....and he is not a woman. His decision making though process is not on the same wavelength as anyone else. You can tell by the way he defends himself that his thought process is very weird. You would have to watch your every step, move and word because at anytime he could lose it go into "you live your life, I'll live mine, Stop shitting on my joy" take my ball and go home mode.

They are both people with big time issues. Both are people you don't want to meet or be around.

I think that's pretty accurate. Laurence is a lot like Eddie Haskell.

Last year (or maybe it was longer ago that that) when Laurence was filling in for Boers he was talking about playing poker with other people (producers) at the station and said something along the lines of "Losing $50 isn't as big of a deal for me as it is for them.", which was pretty damn classless.

Yeah it was. And it was 20$, just to make it a little more insulting

 I initially typed $20 but then changed it to $50 because I thought he couldn't have been THAT insulting.

But he was.

Little comments like that are indicative of a person's character, and I did not get the impression that was said tongue-in-cheek. He really is a smarmy, insecure, disingenuous little jagoff.

Wasn't Spiegel unemployed when Mac salvaged him from the landfill of sports talk radio failures? Isn't that why he was living in a basement during his first year at the Score?

He disappears from the on air talent link on radio.sportingnews.com after July 8th 2007.
http://web.archive.org/web/20070708055513/http://radio.sportingnews.com/

He seemed to have a morning show starting around Nov 24th 2005. He is listed as on air talent for at least a year prior to that.

Spiegal was very good on sporting news overnights, he has changed quite a bit the last few years.

Guys from the SCORE I would want to have a beer with:

1. Terry Boers
2. Hanley
3. Mac to hear the Coppock stories.
End of list.

I'm changing a few things in honor of this thread. I was getting tired of looking at the prince's hot wife. Hopefully she ate that horse meat they're serving in Europe.

Hmm, would Terry be awake at said drinking event? Hanley, no. Mac, not one on one but in a larger group.

Yes.

I thought he was living in a basement because he was getting divorced. I'll have to re read my History of Spiegal.

Anyway Dude Draft at the Score would be

Mac
drinky
Hanley (in a suprise)
Boers
Mully
Les
Spiegal
Sir

I wouldn't draft any of the producers because those poor fucks would start the night drinking in the forest preserve until they were drunk and then hit a bar only to get shot down.
