Speed Racer is awful

Pink Panther, now THAT is funny as hell . but it sucks that for the 1/2 hour show there'd be maybe 2 Pink Panther cartoons then the Ant & The Aardvark bullshit

Pink Panther was a far, far better cartoon. At the end of the day however, Pink was far too often just kind of hapless.

Racer X was indestructible, ever present and in short, the Man!

I used to love those Japanese shows in my youth. My favorite was the one where the boy befriended a family of robots that could change into airplane. The father's name was Goldar, the mother Silvar and I believe their son was Electrar. Whenever the boy saw trouble brewing he would call the robots by means of a whistle, once for the kid, twice for the mother and three times for the father. They would fly out of a volcano to save the day.
