It is harmless in itself just the linemen go each week to a different parents house for dinner. I was under the impression though it was all outlawed.

I don't get why this is a bad thing and should be outlawed?

My point is not that it should have been. It is that it was as part of the "changes" we were told happened. If that is a lie or is happening under wraps what else is?

And what would happen if some parent's could not or did not want to participate? Their kid would be ostracized.

Why should you feel obligated to feed someone else's kids?

Ok, but why would this be part of the changes, what is the harm in the dinners? The other things I get.

As far as I know it has never been a problem, and there are usually a small group of parents that put them on, not all parents have to get involved and it is understood.

A group of HS kids gets together to eat bad spaghetti once a week for 2 months.
Kids were suspended 7 days for bad behavior.

I would definitely line up to sue everybody in sight. Clear winner.

I would definitely sue the school administration. Those people are useless anyway.

Isn't that what you do?

I now just work the streets, mostly forcing HS boys and their dads to eat lots of cheap carbs and marinara. Pays surprisingly well, I just hope nobody finds out.

The official meals happen before the game at the school supervised by the staff. These ones I am talking about are not supervised and occur at parents homes. The changes that were made were that there will be no time anything happens at all not supervised by coaches and they killed these dinners. So it may be silly but parents/kids going around these makes me think nothing has changed.

 I would not sue over pasta you goofs. I chose not to make waves when the original incident occurred to make it easier on my kid. If I see now things are not changing it makes me think about suing over original incident not dinners.

You want somebody from the school to force people, outside of the school time/grounds, from eating together?

Do I have this right?

I guess I would need to understand a lot more about the situation, I just see absolutely no harm in what they are doing.

PM - just offer to host the dinners at your house.

Think about the amount of pasta that 3 adults could produce vs. the 1 or 2 at everybody else's house!

IMO if you let your kids play football, you know what goes along with it.

Make it a MILF party. Then a drunken NSJ will show up and foot the bill for the whole thing.

What???

Lineman dinners serve to exclude non football players

Football players form a high school gang

They terrorize anyone in their way

So when you boil that pasta, just realize you are essentially beating your son with a rope
