2.5 inches of rain in the gauge at my house this morning and we got 1.5 on Sunday. Not as windy over the border as I was expecting but a few branches down when I walked the dog early this morning.

Deerfield got wrecked last night. We lost power before 7pm and it never came back. ComEd now saying most of us will have power by 8pm tonight, the rest not till tomorrow.

Drove to the office in Northbrook, big trees downed every where. Not a single ComEd truck in sight.

my power was out from about 6:40 pm Tuesday night till Wednesday about 11:00 am. brutal.

16 hours of no power in the summer, half of it overnight, is considered "brutal?"
