one of my puppies suffered a freak accident a couple days ago. Was playing with the other puppy and the two of them were running around going crazy like they do early in the morning. They were playing by one of the dog crates and one of them jumped up and caught his eye on the metal spike/latch that sticks up in the air on the door to the crate. Missed his eye ball thankfully, but sliced him pretty good across the eyelid. Rushed him to the vet and they had to sedate him and give him 6 stitches.

Now he's got to wear the cone for 2 weeks and can't play. hard enough with a puppy, but almost impossible with another crazy puppy there who wants to play constantly. so we have to keep them separated as much as possible. And step in between them if they start go wrestle. Basically have to be on high alert constantly. Last two nights I haven't slept for more than an hour at a time as I'm constantly waking up every time I hear him rustling in the crate and checking to make sure he's ok.

Hoping he heals up good and the eye is fine and there's no cosmetic damage.

thanks man, they are great. These last two days have really sucked. Next week and a half shaping up to be the same.

Benny's in great spirits, just frustrated that he can't play with his brother.

Oh, no! Sorry to hear that shakes.

I've been sneezing and congested since Thursday. 330 this morning was terrible. It was terrible. Took my temp around 7:30 and it was 100.2, took it again around 9 and 11:30 and I'm 98.6. Got tested earlier this afternoon. Couldn't go to Frank's today. :cry:
