As I said it seems recent history. I guess having been out of school for 30 years I will find an International Law text. For example, if so long ago MacArthur won all the way to China should there still be a North and South Korea at the 38th parallel? Or just a single Korea with the loser dealing with it?

Thank you for confirming for me that this recent UN rule prohibiting Israel from doing as they please with land won in a war as old as I am is pretty specific to only them.

That was a chaotic region pre Israel and i will never state that Israel is the cause of most of the Problems in the region. WHat breakthrough? I have never stated that they didn't want Israel annihilated. They obviously do for the most part but there have been Arab/Muslim countries that have been at the very least neutral and in some instances cooperative. That is why it is problematic when the Jorrs of the world among others generalize and stereotype all Arabs/Muslims as Jew haters. They aren't. Look at the history. In fact the most Anti Semitic country in the region isn't even Arab.

London doctor was shot yesterday while treating the wounded during the protest. A paramedic he was working with was killed.

Idk... Maybe it was justified.

Yeah they do but it doesn't apply to all. Jorr has repeatedly stated that the destruction of Israel is fundamental to all Arab/Muslim thinking. For the most part doesn't mean that now does it? Disliking Israel and seeking to destroy it are too different things too. Not all countries in the region are actively seeking its destruction either. There needs to be more parsing on this particular subject.

Jesus. The Israelis used drones to drop tear gas on the press area where reporters, camera crews with tripods set up, news vans, and everyone wearing vests that said "press" were stationed.

Maybe... Just maybe... It was justified.

Do people normally bring doctors and medics to the front line of the border protest? How about the wife and kids? Don’t get me wrong I think all but like three of us disagree with lethal force but is this protest well thought out?

I think as stated killing was wrong. I believe Israel should have dealt with these protesters/invaders somehow. Outside of that I do not have a solution that works just like everyone else in my lifetime.
