Boyd, we adopted a Great Pyrenees that we were told was scared of stairs. Until now. She has somehow found the courage to climb up our stairs and sleep in our bedroom. Bought a thundershirt that has no effect whatsoever. Benadryl will be the next option.

We have a 110 pound Bernese Mountain Dog. He is almost 2 now (July). Last spring, when we had some big storms roll through, he chewed into the wall and peed on our couch (twice)...figured out it was the thunderstorms. He has been really good with the last few, but we have been home for the last few, and with the storms today and tomorrow's forecast, I'm glad I'm gainfully unemployed at the moment...I can make sure he doesn't have a complete shit fit.

As it was today, he was laying at my feet all day and whimpered when the storms got loud.
