To illustrate the point of just how much of a phony you are it's better to merely provide evidence. Your very first comment was a complaint regarding your job. Though you were bitchy about me referencing my job. What portion of this pertained to the topic at hand?

You know how many unpaid hours I put in to help someone else on the job? Plenty. Last week there was a day I finished at 2 but one of my mates was stuck on an issue so I drove over and helped off the clock until about 6. That happens all the time.
And ill tell you what, you think teachers spend a lot on school supplies... this year I had buy 2 new sets of manifold gauges for $550, new psychrometer for 200, 4 new temp probes for 25 each new hoses for about 100, new drill for 100, new step bit for 75, 2 new pipe clamps for 200 each. Pipe cutters. Tin snips. Thats just this season. In heating season there's sure to be more. I spend several thousand a season on tools.
Not many jobs don't require an investment of personal funds to do.
Here is your 2nd post. Still haven't addressed the actual point but you find it necessary again to discuss your wife who isn't relevant to the conversation either. Then you find it necessary to take your customary shot and away we go.

Its relevant because most people do this, LTG. My wife gets paid for 40 hours. I can't 4emember the last time she put in only a 40 hour week.
What you're experiencing is part of the real world. Those of us who are salaried have likely put in plenty of uncompensated service. We all buy shit for our jobs except for guys like Denis with the expense report. Your "sacrifice" as it is is positively nothing special.
Thats why its relevant.
And if you don't like it get it taken care of when your next CBA comes up. Or quit complaining about it. Or stop doing it.
Three posts in and still hasn't addressed the actual topic at hand

You are a very childish man. Good lord.
4th post and still discussing himself as always. Now he is a Doctor I guess.

It has saved lives. Does that count?
5th post is a lie as I never referenced school supplies. You did. That's a lie and the unpaid overtime is bullshit also.

your grand sacrifice is some unpaid overtime and school supplies. Its not a sacrifice. Its what the job is sometimes.
You have an extraordinary high opinion of yourself.
None of this is me "complaining" about my job at all. In fact its the opposite. I was illustrating that I and my wife, like many of us, work hours for the job that are uncompensated. This is not some great sacrifice. Its just how a job works sometimes.
And of course I'm no doctor. But believe me my work has absolutely saved lives at times.
And last, perhaps you didn't mention school supplies. Your big sacrifice is unpaid hours. For that I apologize. When I started my train of posts in this thread, the first was not particularly directed at you and thusly was more general of the complaints teachers have. We've all heard them complaining about buying school supplies. So for that half of the sentence, I apologize.
However that doesn't make me a liar or a hypocrite.
