He never said no one. At least 1 poster has NEVER criticized the president and does nothing but defend him. It's fair to wonder why.

Who is this person?

He said there was not one thread about Trump's racism. I guess you two were too busy posting Bernie is a thief and a liar to start the Trump racist threads though.

Forget Clinton, in this case...they still allow chain gangs? That's amazing to me.

Hey remember when Black Lives Matter, inexplicably decided to target Bernie Sanders in the primaries

oh never mind he marched with MLK or was arrested standing up for African American rights

Yet, not a peep or protest at any Hillary rallies. The black communities love affair with HRC is bewildering.

Actually, the whole "superpredator" controversy and ensuing reappraisal of the Clinton Crime Bill arose because a BLM leader confronted Hillary about her comments at a private fundraiser and was condescendingly dismissed. The incident was recorded and replayed widely on progressive media outlets. The exchange helped swing support among young black voters to Bernie.

My god if Sanders had said something similar LTG would be melting down. Anything Clinton does can be explained away.

I'm confused, are we all upset because we don't like the idea of convicts being forced to work while they enjoy free room and board courtesy of the state?

Isn't putting someone to work better than letting them rot in a cell for their entire sentence? At least it would help get them ready to possibly gain employment when/if they are released.

Bernie Sanders made prejudiced statements about the insignificance of southern black voters and I barely mentioned it.

Somehow a bunch of people got caught up in the outlandish conspiracy that since the end of the Civil War the American justice system has soley existed to reenslave blacks.

My issue is not with them working, but with the Clintons using them as next to nothing paid labor at their mansion. I'm all for giving inmates a glimpse of a productive life, and further developing life skills while in prison. Just not the way the Clintons were doing it.

That's something of a surprise & a relief of sorts. I distinctly recall seeing them in Alabama & Georgia wearing leg irons & with the shotguns out when I was in school.

They stayed on the governor's mansion grounds! That has to be a lot better than Arkansas' maximum security shithole.

No you are right, but they ended that in the 90s or early 00s in those states. It was actually completely phased out in the 50s, and then brought back briefly by a few states in the 90s.

Isn't the mansion owned by the state and therefore the state is responsible for its upkeep?

I think a man working outdoors feels more like a man if he can have a bottle of suds. That's only my opinion, sir.

Well hey, this opens up the question of how other states maintain their governor's mansions.

I would assume all of them if they have a specific residence set aside for the reigning governor.

Of the people currently bashing CLinton in this thread can you identify one statement that addressed Trump's

1. Housing Discrimination Case

2. His statements and full page ad regarding the Central Park FIve case.

3. His statement issued shortly after they were exonerated. They should still be locked up because they probably had committed other crimes.

4. Allegations by the owners of the beauty pageant. Trump didn't want black contestants in the beauty pageant.

5. Allegations that he would have black workers removed from the Casino floor when he and Ivanka entered the room.

6. Statement that he hated when blacks count his money

7. Look at My African American over there comment

8. Statement that the inner cities are fucked up and blacks are essentially fucked up. What do you have to lose?

9. Birtherism

10. Threats to send in the National Guard with respect to Chicago.

Which one of these issues have you or anyone currently bashing Hillary Clinton addressed with respect to Trump?

In Illinois it's nice to know that a trivial little rich woman and her equally vapid little friends are trying to pay some of their own way to play dress up queen in a restored dump in one of the dullest parts of a generally shitty state.
