Waiting for the time when I can finally say
That this has all been wonderful, but now I'm on my way

My son was in the resident AC business before he switched to commercial HVAC stuff. I treat most technicians and trouble call guys with respect and offer them coffee or a cold drink normally. Most of them turn it down saying that they have drinks in their truck or car. To me it is just common courtesy. Some people look down on these guys and are assholes and I think that is very wrong.

One thing about it also. If the service person is on time and professional, I make it a point to let their boss know about with a good note. This goes a long way in the service trade for these guys keeping their jobs when tough times occur. On the other hand if the service guy is rude or unprofessional, I also will contact their boss about that also.
