Absolutely.

About a block off 59 and 95th. Right across the street from Nequa Valley HS

That HS is insane. Dr. Ken Jr. II has had some academic competitions there. It's bigger than a college.

Yeah it’s pretty big. A couple years ago when I moved here and heard they were good at football I considered walking across the street to go to a game but never was interested enough to actually do it.

That's my hs and I used to visit your neighborhood as I had an aunt who lived right where you are. Decent place for young couples/singles etc.

Thanks.

I watched Wrestlemania 12 this afternoon. It was funny seeing HHH back then. The Bret and HBK iron man match was something. I watched WM 25 thru 30 over the last week. Going to watch the next few that go thru the attitude era.

I’m guessing the PA sports channels aren’t running Bulls, Hawks and White Sox playoff victories. I admit that it’s both satisfying and maddening at the same time.

I should have added and/with families. I prefer city life but a decent chunk of my upbringing was spent in the suburbs. Out of all the ones I lived in I enjoyed Naperville the most. Before the shift to e-commerce decimated retail, route 59 through Naperville and into Aurora had everything you needed as a suburbanite. A mall, big box retailers, theaters, family restaurants, parks, etc. For kids, and I'm recalling my own memories as a kid, there is/was tons of open space to play pickup football, basketball, baseball, soccer, etc. The YMCA was decent on 95th for winter basketball and generally, like in most suburbs I guess, there are plenty of soccer moms on the road hauling kids to every conceivable major sport. Not having been there for a bit I'm only guessing that, if you want/need to live in the suburbs and have a family or want to start one, there are worse places than Naperville. If you're single and don't mind the suburbs, and I'm not sure where Naperville would rank, but I didn't mind it. Naperville downtown is decent in the summer and in the end if you want to go the city you're 40 mins away by car or a hour or so via metra.

Yeah, my sister lives real close to there. Niece and Nephew graduated from Nequa I don't miss that area AT ALL.

Many years ago, in another lifetime, I was a teacher at the original HS in that district
