It's just different. Obviously, there is something emotional that football provides that baseball doesn't. That's why everyone is watching football on Sunday but very few were watching baseball last night.

Remember that the argument that football isn't as popular as it seems is because of things like parties, gambling, and commercials. All of those are emotional things.

The emotional reasons for baseball also have very little to do with baseball. That is why you are the champion that the television experience for baseball is not a valid substitute for the in game experience. The actual baseball is the same. It's the environment. It's the camaraderie. It's that you went with your dad when you were younger. It is the first sign that spring is coming.

The actual game is the same.

Hockey in this town has become like the nerd who finally made it through his first party without being wedgied or stuck in a closet. Its walking the halls now like it actually fits in. Someone needs to put it in its place
