Your first two shots, including tee shot, went a total of 275 yards, yet you holed out from 250?

I was 3 under, it was my second shot on a par 5.

Someone did tell me it is called an Alabatross...never bothered to look it up...or Double Eagle?

I made a diving catch in the little league playoffs that prevented the other team from taking the lead. We eventually won in extra innings and then got killed in the championship (the slaughter rule was invoked). I was mobbed by my teammates and cheered by the the spectators. It was something out of a Matt Christopher book. The post game hot dog, chips, and coke never tasted so good.

Either are acceptable. My buddy did it from 232 this summer.

High school over the summer we were at an open gym and ran into our biggest rival, whole team was there.

We were down about 8-2 and the guy guarding me was really trash talking me to take a shot. I was generally unselfish so I was passing to "the man" on our team. Finally, I couldn't take it and dropped a. 20-footer on the guy.

I proceeded to score the next 9 consecutive points - jumpers, stepping though a double-team leaners from the baseline, steal and breakaways, put backs - I was out of my mind.

His teammates were screaming at him and he was getting damn near tears from his team yelling at him. It was beautiful.

I don't remeber hearing this story. I've gone as low as 68 but was on a par 70 course. Managed to
shoot 32 on nines twice. Once for the 68 in a practice round. The other was in a tournament when I was 16.
I shot a 32 on the front, made the turn and then proceeded to triple bogey the 10th and limp in with a 41
losing the tournament when they went to the scorecard rather than have a playoff.

We've done this thread before, yeah?

I played second base in little league and high school, and pulled off the hidden ball trick 3 different times

Played Coyote Run this summer the afternoon of July 20th. Shot even 80, but the best part of that was that I shot 35, good for one under par, on the front 9. Bogey, par, birdie, eagle, par, bogey, bogey, birdie, par. Only 12 putts on that front 9. Had two friends with me to witness it. Chipped in from behind a fairway bunker for the eagle, and sank about 50'-60' worth of putts for the two birdies. On the 9th hole, drained about a 18-20' doubler breaker to save par and keep me in the red.

....then put up a 7 on the par four 10th
Stupid game

Yeah, we weren't playing in anything. It was at my home country club course and it is was a Par 71. Turned at -2 (33) and shot 6 under on the back. I had some really good rounds there but this was the lowest. Don't know if it was my best because it wasn't in competition.

Yes, it was a few years ago.

I pitched a nine inning game as a sophomore in high school. We ended up winning 9-8 against Wauconda.
I scored the winning TD on a reverse against Crystal Lake South.
I once went 5-5 against Johnsburg in baseball. I was also pitching that day.

About 16 years ago in a rec softball league, I was playing right-center field. Now, I am 6'3" 225 and slower than Paul Konerko. Anyhoo, I'm playing kinda shallow, and some guy (uh huh huh...) hits a towering line drive that is quickly rising and going past me. I take off on a dead sprint back toward the fence, and lept, laying straight out, and snagged that sucker about 10 feet short of the fence. In one fluid motion, got up and whipped that ball Dave Parker 1979 All-Star-Game style toward home (although it only got to about 20 feet short of second on one hop  ).

Youth soccer, I'm in goal and not really paying attention. I start fucking around with the net and before I know it, I have a foot stuck and the play is heading back my direction. I end up pulling my foot out of the net at the last second just in time for a diving save.

Would making it to the third bucket at the Bozo grand prize game count as an athletic achievement?
