The glory of competition at Northeastern Illinois University! Hopefully they get divisioned well, sometimes in SO sports where there aren't a wealth of teams participating you end up getting curb stomped. Hopefully your team will be the one doing the curb stomping!

  Yeah, those things can be a real "what the fuck is going on -Hey! He won!" thing.

I'll have to crack open the Google Map book for this one. Never been there.

It's fun to see the participants get their medals though. Makes you remember why you like sports to begin with.

I hope Bernstein reads this. His head will literally explode.

Not sure why ... the kid won a championship which is what the good Dr. surely is chiefly celebrating. /s

I know it's a joke. And I'm not Bernstein's biggest fan.

But, I think this stuff is really up his alley given his support of that charity for children that he sponsors. He has his flaws but empathy for children with challenges is definitely not one of them. It's his most redeeming public quality.

On the other end of the spectrum, we've got some 60+ year old guys who've been doing it for so many years that if they don't get a gold medal they don't even want it because they literally have 100s of bronzes and silvers they've probably chucked.

Oh I know.

I guess I should say if that quote was taken out of context and he saw it.

I hear you. Agreed.

I tend to lean towards giving Bernsie a lot of crap. Thought I should be fair on stuff I think he does well.

I've been nominated for a major award. It is an honor to be nominated (and a lot of work) but I really hope I win a Leg Lamp.

I should have mentioned that not only a lot of hard work, but I should have crowd sourced the entrance fee.

I can only assume that most of your work is based on the fucked up shit you read on this board.

I knew that wildly inaccurate NCAA thing you've been doing would finally pay off.

Congrats!!!

Have sini do the foreward. You will have the only book in history where the foreward is four times longer than the actual book.

Just missed the shot he got to take on the court. Close but no cigar...

He also got to meet Toni Kukoc, he had no idea who he was but he got a hat signed by him

We’re looking forward to the college selection process, moreso with my sophomore. He’ll be choosing between academic or baseball choices.

I wish the history was still here (nobody’s fault).

But I remember posts where I described doctors telling us my son would never talk. Don’t always believe the experts.
