I would have to hate nearly all of our presidents if not being a racist was the most important thing to me. Believing that whites are superior is different than running on bigotry and xenophobia. Reality is Trump wouldn't be the Democratic nominee if he ran on the same crap.

You don't have to hate anyone. And that is an important distinction that should be made between your approach, and that of ltg.

We all need to take responsibility for where we are currently at politically. Evil isn't something to be bargained with. It's certainly not something that can or should be accepted on any level. To keep supporting the lesser of two evils has guaranteed us the situation where we presently find ourselves.

I agree with that. But I think at least part of Seacrest's point is that Hillary is more than willing to use racial code depending upon the audience she is talking to. You dismiss that as "playing the game". Trump is simply more overt.

leash has pointed out on several occasions that Trump's style is coarsening political discussion and normalizing vile ideas. That is certainly true, but I would suggest Trump is a result rather than the seed.
