It's the same behavior from both of them. PERIOD.

It's not. Saying so is essentially a defense of Trump and smearing Hillary. Hell it's what he said despite it being factually incorrect.

I think in a moment of rare honesty around here, you and ltg made it clear yesterday with the LBJ comments, that you are willing to accept racism to some extent.

If Trump had stayed a Democrat, I have no doubt he would be receiving the votes of many that now denounce him.

I would have to hate nearly all of our presidents if not being a racist was the most important thing to me. Believing that whites are superior is different than running on bigotry and xenophobia. Reality is Trump wouldn't be the Democratic nominee if he ran on the same crap.

You don't have to hate anyone. And that is an important distinction that should be made between your approach, and that of ltg.

We all need to take responsibility for where we are currently at politically. Evil isn't something to be bargained with. It's certainly not something that can or should be accepted on any level. To keep supporting the lesser of two evils has guaranteed us the situation where we presently find ourselves.

If the critique of LTG and/or Nas is that they are supporting the lesser of two evils, then you are picking and choosing who to criticize for it. There are clearly MANY Trump supporters on this board. LTG and Nas just happen to actually have the balls to come out and say they support Hillary.

I don't believe in the lesser of two evils.

And I'm not criticizing Nas at all. And I'm pointing out many of the same contradictory criticisms about ltg that others have.

I would not have voted for LBJ either. You are not understanding my point. LBJ's positions changed after he was elected. I would not have voted for him in the hopes that he would champion Civil Rights. Hillary Clinton's work with the Children's defense fund alone tops anything that Trump has ever done race relations.

It also appears that you are asking me to accept a known racist simply because I admitted that LBJ was an outlier.

I agree with that. But I think at least part of Seacrest's point is that Hillary is more than willing to use racial code depending upon the audience she is talking to. You dismiss that as "playing the game". Trump is simply more overt.

leash has pointed out on several occasions that Trump's style is coarsening political discussion and normalizing vile ideas. That is certainly true, but I would suggest Trump is a result rather than the seed.

I would say he's both. Our discourse has certainly decayed before him, but I think he's taking it to new heights. If appallingly ignorant political discourse was the NBA, 24-hour cable news would be the Showtime Lakers, and Trump would be Michael Jordan.

Like that has anything to do with someone garnering votes in this country.

And, "the basket of deplorables" was a rare glimpse into the daily private discourse that elected officials use to describe voters.

Who do you think the DC good boys and girls hate more: Trump supporters or Sanders supporters? I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it were the latter.

Whomever is a threat to them.

That is currently Trump. Bernie took the "movement" money and bought a $600,000 dollar lake house. Probably eating lobster and drinking French wine right about now.

if you're hillary's debate-prep team, you chamber a few "that must've been my body-double" for her to maybe throw out in one of the debates in response to Trump. Troll the Image crowd a bit.

A noticeably frail-looking Hillary Clinton discussed the bombing in New York City Saturday night, hitting Donald Trump for saying the explosion resulted from a "bomb."

Clinton herself, however, began her remarks by likewise referring to the "bombings."

"I've been briefed about the bombings in New York and New Jersey," she told reporters.

"Do you have any reaction to Donald Trump immediately ... referring to the explosion as a bomb?" a reporter asked.

"Well I think it's important to know the facts before responding to an incident like this," Clinton said. "I think it's always wiser to wait to until you have information for making conclusions, because we are just in the beginning stages of trying to determine what happened."

The effects of Parkinson's on full display. She almost passed out again, rocking back and forth, barely hanging on. She's good at disguising the tremors but that itself is a tell sign. Keeping her eyes squinted to cut down on stimulus that would trigger a seizure or freeze up.

That's not a good look up there, she looks on deaths doorstep. Wouldn't doubt that she was half I'm the bag and using booze to self medicate.

I'm 3 months cold turkey right now, been smoking 2 grams a day for the past 15 years. Zero withdrawal or side effects.
