I think I'd rather spend the weekend in prison.

That's not very nice, but I understand prison food is underrated.

Congrats

So, not only did I attend the show, I was on the rail about 6' from Dave Grohl the entire night. What an amazing experience.

I'll be at the World Tweeter Bank Center tomorrow night. That's right. I don't care. You can judge me and hate me all you want. :D

Also - If anybody is gonna be in/near Freeport tomorrow and is looking for something to do, there is a decent music fest going on there (I think it's like $30). The downside is that it is in Freeport. A town that is way worse than Rockford:

12:00
The Apollo Effect

1:00
Lawson Garret
& The Hygienics

2:15
Barefoot Fred

3:30
Joshua James

5:00
Tonic

6:15
Los Lonely Boys

7:30
Filter

8:45
Everclear

10:15
FIREWORKS

10:30
Chevelle

After Show
The Get Go

No problem. Is there a certain one that you'd like me to seek out?

Too young for me, but I hear IMU is on the lookout.

Do you go through some sort of time-warp when you enter Freeport? This is like a major bill if the year was 2000. Now, not so much.

I'd see Filter and Chevelle. But it's still not worth setting foot in Freeport for. It's actually a weekend-long fest but saturday looked like the best line-up.

FTR - I couldn't name one song that My Chemical Romance sings. I've never heard their stuff that I can recall. Also - Manchester Orchestra is opening for Blink also. I think I know a song or two from them.

What's my age again is probably a legitimate question asked by the band now.

Yeah, shakes's girlfriend.

Tonite; grilling steaks

Tomorrow morning; golf at Coyote Run (one of my favorite courses) with the old man in the AM, some laundry and guitarin in the afternoon, rum and Miller High Life at night

Sunday; recovery and over to my parents for dinner

Tomorrow is also game #1 for my son's coach-pitch fall league for 5 & 6 year olds. I'll be sure and keep all of you updated on the daily events, especially when the opposing team and their coach tries to skirt the rule book. Pretty sure we're gonna be undefeated.

Good luck, man. By the way, send me a PM when you do a poker night again. I'd love to try one of those if you'll have my fat ass over.

Nope... just a 6 ft dude who has no business weighing 200 lbs... project 185 just hasn't been going well. You would think I'd have all that free time to exercise with 4 kids, 2 dogs, and a wife with a honeydo list a mile long.

Literally for years I've been wanting to get a little bit liquored up and play Doom. Today is finally that day- although after I installed it I recognized that it wasn't the DOS version. Oh well. Doom is the only video game you should play. To anyone that enjoys the call of duties and other military games- go join the army and shut the fuck up, or if you don't want to- go buy some vagisil and shut the fuck up.

I've played the original Half Life- I've actually started the newer one on ps3 (the one that has Portal). I'm not much of a video game guy- although I do remember enjoying the fuck out of Deus Ex, and I am aware that a much-hyped sequel is being released towards the end of this month.

I've actually been looking recently for the two original Half Life expansions on Amazon- there was one for the soldiers and there was one for the security guards. Doom was still better, though.

*I've wondered in the past about System Shock, cause I've read about it.
