Actually, it seems very Christian...that weird, protestant, passive-aggressive Christianity that seems to be popular these days.

I think we are all a little weird posting on a message board in 2017, but that still wouldn't stop me from meeting most of you. I didn't have time when I was home in December (Sorry Leash!), but I intend on showing my face at some point before the next board implosion.

ImO it's kind of obvious to read a post, and determine who are the most unbalanced amongst us. What about those who can hide it tho? What about the poster who flies into a rage after reading a Julie DiCaro twitter post and then proceeds to beat their wife or children? What about the guys who jerkoff to hentai or beastiality porn? Or even finding out the guy making troll threads in the Cubs section every other day is a flamboyant homosexual? Just like a sex offender revelation these are things that would forever alter my perception of someone. I guess my question is where does this stop? Because Chas was a habitual line stepper that does make this doxxing a little bit more easy to digest, but now are the floodgates open to anyone who crosses a perceived line to have their information shared? What are the boundaries? Are there any?

I'd be upset if someone posted my info here with nothing but the best of intentions. We have plenty of outside lurkers here every day who would be happy to do any of us harm for no reason. Hell, drinky, the OG, Di Caro, etc. have all lurked here and would have sufficient incentive to create a little rain in our sunshiney day

Yeah, I agree. And I probably have a lot fewer concerns than most people. I don't answer to anyone and I have no concerns about something here affecting me on a job. But there are just certain things you want to keep in their place. To flip it around, there are things I discuss here that I would never bring up in a different forum or in a real life conversation. Not because I don't stand behind any of my thoughts or words, but because of the perceptions of others. I don't want to do that much explaining. And even then, people are hard heads. But I feel as if here there has always been an understanding, not that judgment is put aside necessarily, .but that we can have these conversations without the assumption of bad intent on the part of the other guy

I will apologize to no one. If that post offended you so much, get a new perspective. I was specifically referring to letting kids RUN AROUND unattended at an event, not simply bringing them.

And... this will be my last post on the matter... but let's please stop with the Holier than thou "Oh, we stopped a child predator from getting to our kids!" That's nonsense... Chas was never coming to a board event. If he did, we all already thought he was weird, and we don't even know the circumstances.
