It's insane to me that media outlets do this. It's one thing to write about tweets from the blue check mark brigade, but a lot of these "cancel" articles quote tweets from folks with like 19 followers. It's like reporting on YouTube comments and framing them as a societal issue.

The People on Twitter is a strong boogeyman.

I don't think that Mel Brooks could make a movie these days. I would imagine that Blazing Saddles will have a problem being played anymore due to the lack of dark humor being allowed anymore anywhere.
