Eddie Murphy made distinctions between a Ritz and a Saltine.

I like crackers. The oyster cracker is my favorite for stews and chowders but I prefer a crumbled saltine for more brothy soups. I absolutely love to eat fancy crackers like flats with sliced salami and cheese.

I am did you not read my post above about skin color being a silly reason to dislike someone?

So what I am getting from you all is because I am Caucasian I am not to be offended by any racial slurs directed towards me or any racial actions directed at me because of past history?

You can be offended by whatever you want. Dont always expect to be taken seriously though.

Like Kid said, you just dont get that history has made an uneven playing field. When you call a black person N*****, its remsinding them that they used to have 2nd tier status and that you are inherently a better person because of your skin color. History backs that up. There is no word that a black man can call you that has an equivalent meaning, no matter how bad you want there to be one.

Yeah...... I dont see that. If you read my last sentence it states that it Seemed out of character. Meaning it seemed odd to see him dropping hints like that.

I'm pretty sure it's a relatively new usage and not very widespread as I had never heard it before either. New pejorative terms are developed constantly. Just ask the nuts and burritos.

Probably not very widespread, but definitely been used for at least 4-5 years now.
