I'm so screwed. :) Every year I lose right away, and the next year I always keep getting a "better" seed. How? lol

I think the first year I was a 12, won the first round and then lost the second.

Last year I was a 7 or 8 and lost the first round.

Now I'm a 6. :(

edit: Above from memory, could be slightly wrong.

I think you beat me last year.

Beardown?

Well, it looks like I'm primed for another 1st round exit.

No way, man. Not only you do you get the pro-SomeGuy vote, but besides those three you have the anti-Beardown vote going for you.

He has a point.

I'm probably voting SomeGuy in this matchup, and I mostly don't like you.

I'd rather you just vote for Beardown.

The other day I made a stop by the neighborhood Jewels to pick up a gallon of milk.

While standing in line at the checkout, I noticed the elderly woman in front of me was diligently studying my face. While quite odd and a bit awkward, I politely smiled and turned my attention to the magazine rack to my left.

After a few seconds I nonchalantly looked up and noticed the woman was still staring. However this time she appeared to be crying.

"Is everything alright ma'am?" I asked.

Embarrassed, the woman apologized. "I'm sorry, but I cannot help but notice how much you look like my son."

"Oh. Well, there's no reason to apologize. Is he about my age?"

"No," she replied. "He died last year. I never had the chance to say goodbye to him."

I was obviously taken aback by her revelation and apologized for her loss, offering that I could not fathom how hard it must be to lose a child.

"If you wouldn't mind," she continued. "Would it be alright if I said goodbye to you instead?"

I felt chills. I didn't really know what to say to such a weird yet depressing request. After a few seconds I hesitantly agreed. If nothing else it may provide some closure for this poor mother.

The cashier began ringing up her items one by one and placing them in plastic bags. The old woman and I exchanged a bit of small talk while we waited. Once her final item was bagged the woman grabbed her items and began walking toward the door. After a few steps she once again turned to me, waved and said, "Goodbye, son. I love you."

Fighting back a tear I returned her wave and uttered, "Goodbye, mom. Me too."

The cashier rang up my gallon of milk, pressed a few keys on his register and then gave me my total.

"That will be $86.62, sir."

"What? There must be some mistake," I explained. "How does milk cost..." I already knew the answer before finishing my question.

"The total is for your milk and all of your mother's items," the clerk explained.

After a few minutes of trying to explain the situation to the clerk and how the old woman was NOT my mother, I turned to the store's front windows and noticed her walking toward her car in the parking lot. I immediately broke for the doors and jogged outside in an attempt to catch up.

Upon leaving the store a line of parking lot traffic forced me to stop. I called out for the woman, who turned, smiled, and began jogging faster to her car!

Once the traffic cleared I began sprinting for the woman, knowing that I had been conned. By this time she had already reached her vehicle. She started to climb into her car and reached for the door while also slowly bringing her leg into the car.

Running as fast as I could, I managed to dive toward her car, grab onto her leg and began pulling on it.

Just like I am pulling on all of yours'.

It's a silent yet dedicated sect of posters....

I think I'm one of them so I will probably be voting for Beardown.

Any chance we could do away with the PM vote?

I thought about it, but there are posters who seem to be uncomfortable with the concept of voting for someone publicly. Maybe we'll try it out for the final four and title game.

That's the point, though. If you can't publicly vote for someone, you can just sit it out.

It adds strategy to the whole process and makes the game more interesting...

Ok. I'll try it for the next round(starting Monday). I still reserve the right to cancel a vote based on a clear violation of the voting rules.

You can still PM me for the current matchups.

It's not owned by me. I'm just the caretaker slowly ruining it like Roger Goodell.

There is alot more CTE in the CSFMB tourney than there is in the NFL though.

There is more CTE in the Mini/312 matchup than the entire NFL.
