We're lucky to be here for it. Lot of ES jealousy coming out of Sox Subdivision.

Yes, the attempts by yourself, Jorr, Good Dolphin and others, to rain on the parade of Cubs fans, as we celebrate an amazing start to the season, sparked some return fire. But a lot of what I post is just what I feel is accurate. You want to hold your Sox up against the Cubs this season? I invite you to do that. In a game of poker, the guy holding a royal flush does not fear playing out his hand. This is just the beginning of a glorious season. You know the Sox are going to fade and the Cubs will continue to play superior Baseball, get used to it.

If you can't see how the now 1-4 Rodon is scuffling, how the last 3 starts Latos has had bodes poorly, or how the struggles of Danks to Johnson (the Sox have a lousy Johnson, that is clear now) has led to yet another candidate to fill the #5 slot in the rotation......all adds up to a team that is not a real contender, I can't help you. It's not just hitting issues. the starting pitching just got off to a fluke start they could never come close to sustaining. That team is a pretender, not a contender.

So they play in a mediocre division. The poor start KC is off to, is an important component in this. It will all get worked out.

You may want to scale back a bit here, I don't think anyone is celebrating. That is usually after the World Series.

In a Crystal Lake Hoffy Era, scaling back might take place. Not in the Elmhurst Steve Era will such things take place.

The Cubs have won 2 games against a real team all year and Steve has misinterpreted it as validation of all his stupid thoughts. I can only imagine how Cubs fans would be reacting if the Cubs went 9-4 against Texas, Toronto, Baltimore and Boston.

Is moving the goal posts every few days trolling or your actual thought? Hard to tell.

How about you go post in the "David Ross All Star?" thread? Your own house is a complete shitshow yet here you are telling me to run mine.

Even if we pretend the Pirates would have more than 8 wins against an AL schedule (doubtful), the Cubs have won 5 straight against "quality" opponents. 5. The Sox rattled off two sweeps against Texas and Toronto consecutively and I didn't see anyone seriously pose Alex Avila as an All Star.

I'm just asking for clarification. No one mentioned the Socks. Take a few deep breaths.

The Cubs took 2 of 3 VS the Cardinals, swept the Pirates and took the first 2 against the Natonals. 7/8> 9/13

The Cardinals are just off to a slow start. To say a team that had the best regular season record in 2015 winning 100 games in the regular season and is largely intact ( except for losing Lackey and Heyward to the Cubs) now sucks, makes you look desperate to discredit the Cubs great start, to the point where you are willing to spew bullshit you cannot truly believe, unless you are a moron.

This will be happening all year long.

He will just change his thoughts and continue to troll away.
