If they had an affair ? I think I'd certainly be more apt to if it were a one off girls night out hookup rather than a planned protracted one (which seems to be the choice of sports radio show producers) that required being lied to hundreds of times while it happened.

A friend of mine (best man at his wedding) left his wife on Easter for another woman. It was really messy and his wife tried to stabbed him a few weeks later.

Another friend of mine is thinking about leaving his wife because some 60 year old man tried to steal his central air unit in the middle of the night. He heard it and ran outside and made the guy take it back off his truck. His wife watched for 20 mins and never called the police. We he went back in the house to grab his phone the guy drove off. She told him she watched to make sure nothing happened to him.

The number of women have cheated once and only once throughout the annals of human history can be counted on one hand. The first time she gets caught is never the first time she's cheated. You gotta have a zero tolerance policy.

Taking the Drinky example, ( if true of course) his wife threw him out even though they have kids, Jens hubby appears to be trying to make it work probably because they have kids . I'd have a hard time throwing my wife out because of what it would do to my son no doubt .

I do know of one couple that has survived and are in a good place. Are they at there fullest level of happiness....hard to say. Any other couple I know, it's never survived or if they still are, it's always a point of argument.

I fully believe it's non-recoverable.

I am friends with a couple that have recently went through a real horrible situation, but have seemed to patch things up and are making them work although I am not sure how.

He asked his wife to get something off his phone for him and in the process of doing that she came across some messages from a guy that were sexual. When it all come out he confessed to having had 2 affairs with guys over the last 5 years of their marriage. They seperated for awhile and got some counseling and are now back living together and appear to be doing well.

You wouldn't be able too and that'd destroy everything, the relationship and your mind.

If it was a one night this or a long term thing it simply wouldn't matter....the relationship would be over immediately and all contact would be terminated. I may forgive but that would end relationship and all contact would be dead.
