Well, have you?

If so, for how long? How did/do you conceal your behavior? Did your significant other ever learn of your transgressions? When he or she discovered your infidelity, did you ask for forgiveness or end your relationship?

No one is going to say yes.

I personally haven't cheated eventhough every woman wants me.

There have been a couple of admissions in the history of the board.

Yes. For years. Act normal. Never discovered it.

Never. I didn't get married to get divorced.

Why did you keep the first relationship going?

Ye gods ... did Cosmopolitan recently sign a sponsor deal with the board?

I felt it was the right thing to do. It doesn't make it better but I never emotionally cheated. I was young and still wanted to hunt.

Yes. It didn’t go on very long (less than 1 year) before I filed for divorce. It started basically after I knew divorce was when, not if. Doesn’t make it right nor is it an excuse….just how it went down. It’s an awful thing to do to someone and I hated myself for a long time. My ex had her faults and she is an equal contributor to the failure of the marriage, but in the end I cheated and I honestly feel I went out like a bitch for doing that.

Based on the description above, it sounds like you're being too hard on yourself.

I have to say, if you'd asked me at first glance which poster created this thread, Tall Midget wouldn't be the one who came to mind.

No, but when I was in grad school I was the "other guy" for about two months for a Hawaiian female student who was in a 6-year relationship with her high school sweetheart and she wanted to see what a white guy would be like. They kept it going for about six months after that but she eventually dumped him and then started fucking a series of other white guys until she found one worth marrying.

When you go white, it's mostly alright.

I have been the "other guy" as well. I was really in love but she ultimately wouldn't leave her husband. My mother scolded me by saying, "That's what it's like with a married chick, a lot of breakfasts and lunches, Bobby."

After Rickey Henderson put me on a diet and I went from 250 to 180 in college I got a GF really quick. Then another one at the same time. Proved to be way too much work, but at least one of the girls was out of town so that made it a little easier. Of course it didn't help that on summer break the out of town GF would return and work as my boss at Domino's Pizza in Deerfield. I ended up breaking up with her by telling her my new GF doesn't want me talking to her. Work got a little awkward after that.

Never cheated on my wife, but she was nice enough to break up for me for a month right before my 20 year high school reunion back when we were dating in 2008. I parlayed that hall pass into a nice 2 week hook up with a girl from high school in addition to a one night stand with some broad I picked up at McGee's while bar hopping for my brother's bachelor party.

that's a more interesting question.....would you be the "other person" in an affair if you were single ?
Obv married for married is the usual....but if you're single i can't see why you'd want the hassle/drama
although i'm sure there are pros to it too

The main pro to me was the lack of real commitment at a time when I didn't want it. And I got all the best of her and the other goof got the complaints and all the bad shit. I can still feel about her in a way it would be impossible for me to feel about someone with whom I had a "normal" relationship. I'm glad she wouldn't leave her husband although I didn't feel that way at the time. I'll always have this storybook romance that was never tainted by real life concerns.
