Now do a google search on Amadou Diallo.

(Gunned down by 4 NYPD officers after pulling his wallet out of his jacket)

Coincidence, I think not.

If the article is correct.. I agree with the DB...bit I'm thinking this is a half truth, like this is a robbery gone wrong n this guy is pimping his ol lady out or getting off on some weird fetish...I don't see the NYC detectives recommending charges if this was " true"

but you know this is a classic law school type fact pattern

Anyway, this isn't the judicial system...yet. Just because police arrest doesn't mean the government will charge. Just because the government charges doesn't mean a judge/jury will find guilty. I expect that this will all work itself out if it gets to the judicial system

Oh yeah, I remember. & yeah, if his wife and the timeline make any sense, this should get tossed before any indictment. I hope.

But as soon as I saw the now potential defendant's name I immediately remembered the outline of the events of 17 yrs ago and began to wonder .

I didn't even know about that. Looks like it's going to be worse than the LaQuan McDonald case for the NYPD, they already have a soundtrack.
