This has perplexed me for a bit....

To BigFan, Keeping Score was a criminal, data mining, ID thieving creep who should be in a sort of prison somewhere. The vitriol was palpable and the hate seemed genuine to the point where his alleged return set up a thermonuclear explosion that annihilated large swaths of cyberspace.

To a guy like Terry's Peeps he was a regular Joe that had a new board and was just fine. For a while I just chalked up this feeling to Terrys Peeps being a KS mult or that they were lovers but this latest episode has quite possibly changed my mind.

What's the story? What really happened? I'm going to be drunk soon so spell it out.

Auto correct aside, he had gotten mad at bigfan for the indiscriminate bannings. So he set up a board.

I think a lot of the creepiness accusations stemmed from early days on the board. I heard stories about him trying to find people's real names and addresses. No idea if any of that's true, but all my interactions with him have been above board so he's fine by me. He's a SOLID guy.

IIRC, Keeping Score had been caught doing creepy social-engineering stuff before the whole 80 McNuggets (McNuggets 80) controversy went down. I was glad he was banned for life.
