My daughter was at a basketball camp this past week. During some of the downtime she accidentally spilled some pop on her friends laptop. It kept working for awhile but later shut down and hasn't turned back on.

My question is what do I need to do? I don't want to blow it out of proportion. Do I wait for them to contact me? Do I contact them first? How do I go about resolving the situation? Are we supposed to offer to get it fixed or replace it?

What if someone offered to wager $1000 with you on whether or not Tim Tebow would take a snap in the NFL in the 2015 season; and instead of saying yay or nay to the bet right away, you waited several months until Chip Kelly brought Tim Tebow into training camp the WEEK BEFORE the season was to kick-off, and then you spent hours clicking through BigFan's broken ass, no-search working web site to find that profferred wager you had either declined or ignored and YOU FUCKING JUMPED ON IT LIKE BROCK TURNER JUMPING ON A PASSED OUT IMU IN A LIL BLACK DRESS and you said "I'll take that bet, $1000 says Tim Tebow takes a snap this season". And then smugly say back and waited to--cha-ching--cash in.

Cept you didn't count on Chip Kelly being Chip Kelly and cutting Tebow the same damn week. Ut-oh. Tim Tebow doesn't make any regular season NFL roster, much less take any snaps for any NFL team in an actual NFL regular season game.
