Just saw a mawkish commercial by the Ad Council on Fox in honor the victims of the Orlando terrorist attack/mass shooting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVBHwVBBB4g

Showing people pretending to be surprised to see an interracial couple, a lesbian couple, or a little girl who loves her disabled sister (not sure where that came from) and then applauding them as if this is all unprecedented seems silly. Besides, if you're going to tie this to the terrorist attack/mass shooting in Orlando the people who would really need to see this commercial (who don't give a fuck anyway because they want to slaughter those who are different from them) are probably not watching back-to-back episodes of Modern Family, which is what I was watching when I saw it.

The Ad Council has several horrible commercials that play in the wee hours of the morning on AM1000.
