From the Bernstein thread I think this deserves a separate topic. When someone visits your home, or if you visit someones home do you expect shoes to be taken off when staying indoors? Personally, I don't really care either way but I much prefer to take them off as it is so much more comfortable. I'm not going to kick someone out for wearing shoes in the house but I don't understand why you would want to. It would be like still wearing your jacket. So, can we get a 100% consensus here after coming up with both sides of the debate and then all coming to an agreement? |

I don't really care about shoes in the house as long as they are clean. If it's the winter and there is snow/slush on the ground, you better take that shit off though. |

Shoes off. If you wear shoes in your home you better not have any carpet otherwise it's basically a garbage dumpster sewer cespool on your floor. I prefer to be able to walk barefoot in my home without stepping on the same floor as shoes that have been in wrigley bathrooms, street festival grounds, or subway cars... |
