I don't usually believe in that crap, but I have a hard time believing otherwise after what happened last night. I pull my grill out of the garage, since I grill in my driveway. I go back inside the house. Not ten seconds later, I hear these two loud bangs and a thud (insert the Seinfeld suitcase joke). I run upstairs because my fiancee is giving our son a bath. Sounded like something huge fell. Nothing going on up there. I didn't see anything wrong inside the house. I go back out in the garage, and both of my bikes' front tires were off their respective hooks and now hanging by only the back tires. Mind you, you have to lift the bike up to pull it off the hooks, both of which were still securely anchored into the wall. Unless someone was somehow waiting for me to go back in the house and immediately do this (seems extremely unlikely), I have no explanation. What say you? Ever had the unexplainable happen to you? |

He lost most of his sight. I liked Seth Meyers' joke. Now neither of you can see what he's putting in your drink. |

I had a dream my Uncle was hugging me. He died later on that day. |

PM, my guy! I bet your uncle was a great man, a great defender, and a late starter. |

Someone was trying to steal your bikes, fucked up and made a loud noise, and bolted. |

The previous owner of my house committed suicide a few weeks after he lost the house. Not it was in foreclosure for a few years and another guy bought it, gutted it, rehabbed it and sold it to us. That being said we've had a few weird things happen. I'll tell more stories later but this one is the most recent. You know who've been to the estates know where the downstairs bathroom is right? So I'm in that bathroom, brushing my teeth and I see someone walk from one bedroom to another out of the corner of my eye. Thinking it was DW I say something like hey what ya doing? And I hear a muffled response. So I walk out of the bathroom and into the bedroom I saw the person walking to. No one in there. Walk into the other bedroom. No one. Upstairs... no one there. I look outside and DW is watering the flowers. I ask her if she's been inside and she says maybe 20 minutes ago. |

I used to mess around with spiritual tools like tarot cards, and of course like most kids my friends and I had a stage where we'd play the ouija board in random places like a cemetery. While the ouija board was generally a cute gimmicky type experience, the tarot cards were imo the bridge to some truly strange happenings. I burnt those cards before the day before I left for the oil field, and I truly don't miss them. That being said, one of the few occurrences I've experienced had nothing to do with tarot or ouija. My friends and I fresh out of college rented a house in residential Naperville. Every single one of us when left alone would here footsteps walking from one end of the 2nd floor hallway to the next. Clear as day, and they weren't loud footsteps, but more soft like a child or teenager. We never cared enough to investigate any strange deaths, and whatever it was didn't seem to be hostile. We left it alone, and joke about it nowadays. |

My wife called to tell me her dad was about to pass at the hospice about 8 years ago and I should get there pronto. I said are you sure it's today because he was hanging on for quite awhile. Suddenly while my wife was talking to me,we both heard a sound like a respirator and it spooked us. Later that day,he did die. |

The first year after my grandmother died I saw her in my dreams regularly. Some were vivid and intense but one really stands out. I could see inside some home that looked really like in had a 1930s or 1940s design. It felt like I was there but no one acknowledged me. Toward the end of the dream it appeared that a white kid around the age of 10 was being beaten or murdered by a white man. Right before I woke up I asked her where we were and she said Fayetteville. That name meant absolutely nothing to me. One day I decided to Google the name and it was a city not far from where she grew up in Arkansas. It scared the fuck out of me. |
