I don't really give a fuck, but she is on point about most topics. Where are all the supporters on this board? Too busy reading 13 pages of whether or not Islam is a dangerous religion? I understand.

$8 million a day to Israel? $85 billion a month for student loans? How come Hillary and Trump aren't talking about this?

That is scary. Close to a deal breaker, but we gotta consider the other options for election.

I'm not really all that familiar with the body of work of one Jill Stein but she did seem like the default choice for MANY. This is rather light. Does she have any actual ideas or is she just another in a long list of diagnosers in chief?

I'd vote for Jill Stein if not for the dog whistles to anti-vaxxers. That is a dealbreaker. I have no tolerance for anti-vaxxers.

I'm with you man. My wife wants to vote for Jill Stein, but just last night we were talking about saying fuck it and voting for Trump to see the world burn.

I thought she said last night that she supports vaccine requirements, but wants all corporate influence eliminated from the vaccine regulatory process.

If you live in Illinois I got bad news for you your vote for Jill Stein ain't swinging this state for Trump/world burning. I get the impulse though I voted for Gary Johnson in 2012 because Obama and Romney were both unpalatable options in my opinion.

I thought she said last night that she supports vaccine requirements, but wants all corporate influence eliminated from the vaccine regulatory process.

She's softened her stance after she started receiving more scrutiny. Her position still has a "I'm for them but maybe they should be questioned" vibe. Just enough for the anti-vax crowd to latch onto.

From Salon.com...

Stein’s rhetoric serves to imply that we don’t already have trustworthy agencies regulating vaccines. But, as Offit laid out, the government system for handling vaccinations is extremely thorough. First, the Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee, an independent board run by the FDA, reviews the research on a new vaccination and makes recommendations. Once a vaccine is approved, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, handled by the CDC, carefully reviews the research and issues guidelines on using the vaccine. After vaccines start being administered, they are tracked by the Vaccine Safety Datalink(VSD), to track if there are any problems.

Unlike other drugs, which tend to be taken for weeks or even years, vaccines are given only once, with a few requiring boosters, Offit pointed out. There’s simply not enough money in it to justify this “vague notion we have that there are forces out there that mean to do us harm”.

A medical doctor with that stance can't be taken seriously.

I am aware of the criticism surrounding Stein's stance. I disagree that it is unreasonable to support the elimination of corporate influence from the regulatory process.
