Found out about an hour ago that my first love's 17 year old died in a car accident this morning in Antioch.
We are dear friends to this day, but I've never met her husband, or the father of her son.
Her dad didn't definitely didn't like me, but her mom is sweet, and I'm friends with her sister too.
I just saw them last month, and wished the 17 year old was there.
She came to my apartment after we had broken up with the boy when he was 3 or 4, and he ran roughshod .
I was fine with it.
My dear friend is also battling cancer.
I don't even know what I could say, not that she's checking her phone, understandably.
Just very sad.
And I had to write it out.
