Hank generally leans right. Bernie was an exception. Libertarians are more right of center. That's why Gary Johnson (former republican) is the choice for MANY conservatives that hate Trump.

You must not know much about Johnson. He refuses to criticize Hillary and trashes Trump every chance he gets. Also, we are talking about Hank and I. Gary Johnson isn't a board member.

What positions of the right do you think I hold? I'm in favor of the following:
Drastically reducing our military and defense budget
Completely opening the borders
Completely legalizing every drug and prostitution and gambling
Gay marriage, although it is almost distasteful that you have to say you're favor of something this basic

The only thing that you can say I have in common with conservatives is appealing for smaller government, less taxes, and more fiscal responsibility, except modern conservatives aren't for any of that shit any longer and haven't been for decades.

I think it leans left. If for no other reason than even many that lean right go lean back left on social issues. There is also some rub off on everyone that has grown up in Chicago as a democratic machine.

What I find more interesting though is on many topics that are more of a national matter the board seems somewhat insular. What I mean by that is the stances, defining of problems and their solutions reflect the relatively small area this board represents.

i don't identify as such, and i don't think not wanting to bomb other countries or oppress gays means you're a screeching libtard. whatever. shame that that's the furthest toward the progressive side their political spectrum goes. says something about our political landscape that supporting basic human rights (like the right of people in other countries not to be droned to death) is somehow extreme.
