I'd like to think/pretend this will actually be an evening of (mostly) salient points and polite back-and-forth between adults who can comport themselves respectfully in public, rather than the chas v. Scooter farce that preceded it ... the debate circuit equivalent of that scene from the third Matrix movie when Trinity pilots the ship up and over the clouds and sees the real blue sky for the first time in her life, if only for a moment, then hurtles back into the soupy shit of the Earth below. The bell rings @ 8pm locally and is one fall with a 90 minute time limit pitting one Mike Pence (Governor of Indiana) against Tim Kaine (D Senator from Virginia). not even done with their opening statements, its clear this election is focused on winning the middle class vote. so was obamas campaigns... and the result was achieving a grand ejaculation equivalent to 6 hour masturbation sessions finished with 20 cigarettes and more than a few shots of wiskey. |

I would send $50 to whatever foundation will guarantee me a debate wherein anyone who interrupts the other is first tazed, then kicked in the nuts, then, after the third instance, tossed into a woodchipper. I realize this evening's format somewhat encourages it, I still don't like it. If I want multiple big mouths yammering at once I'd go see an opera. |
