Chus Jr. I started sleeping through the night just before Chus Jr. II was born. I went about three straight years without sleeping all the way through the night.

I am up at 4am everyday so I am going to need to try to get a power nap in today after work if I have any hopes of making it past the 5th inning.
We have a "file retention day" here again. Pretty much paid time to clean your desk and cube and try to get organized. I found a bunch of binders
and paperwork from 2005. They feed us pizza at 11:30 so as far as work goes, there are few better days around here than this one.

He usually does, but the ol' lady didn't get to see him at all yesterday (woke up early for work and didn't get home 'til 8 p.m.), so she brought him into our bed last night. Doesn't sleep well with two adults and two dogs in one bed.

#2 has started sleeping more at night. It's been glorious. I can't wait until she gets shipped off to her own room. #1 has her moments. For the most part, she has slept through the night since about 6 months old. Now, every once in a while, we get the upset bad dream screaming. Worst it has been was last week when she decided 3:30 AM was an ideal time to want to be up, and playing.

#2.1 finally is upstairs and actually sleep well once you can get him to fall asleep. # 2.2 has been upstairs for a while, but the slightest little noise or disturbance gets the screaming "Mommy!!!" until one of us responds.

Please don't take this the wrong way, T-bone, because I'm sure you didn't mean it this way, but this might be one of the saddest things I've ever read.

Hmmm, I just re-read it and you may be right. I was going to ask which part was saddest but when cobbled together it all sounds pretty awful.
It's like I am living the retired lifestyle of a 65 year old man but I just turned 40 in May.
