Post subject: | Great day for America!!! |
After last night's amazing election, we now have 3 more states that have legalized recreational marijuana use! Nevada and Massachusetts passed which is big, but the huge one is California with over 10% of the country's population. Many predict that with California doing this its only a matter of time before the rest of the country follows suit. Even Barack Obama (remember him, former president who was apparently so bad at his job look what happened last night) said that once California goes legal it would make the national anti marijuana policy untenable. 2 other states also had this on the ballet, but as of now its too close to call in Maine. Arizona did reject the proposal behind lots of money and opposition from idiots who claimed that legal weed would lead to many car accidents as well as a whole bunch of drug traffickers sprouting up who can sell weed out of state. Cause you know, its apparently worse to have people export weed out of state as opposed to muling it in from Mexico 24/7. And I'm still waiting to see my first car accident caused by weed. Meanwhile, Nevada approved so good luck Arizona. Have fun watching Nevada make all the money from your citizens traveling over the border. Several states approved medical measures including Florida. All in all, a very proud day to be an American! |

Arizona is filled with a bunch of old people waiting to die, gun nuts, and Big Fan. If legalizing meth was on the table there, that might have a shot. |

The silver lining is that some big wig casino owner in Vegas put a ton of money into fighting this in Arizona and then it got passed in his own state Nevada. |

The legalization movement is going to take huge steps backwards, with Chris Christie and Rudy Giuliani as part of the administration. |

What good is a state legalizing it, if the Prez is going to send the Feds in to bust dispensaries and growers? |

Chris Christie says that pot smokers lack self control. A guy who ate through a lap band calls out others for lacking self control. ![]() |

Yeah, I can't believe he skated on indictment, he knew about it and it was kind of proven that he at least knew about it. Your underling doesn't just shut down a major traffic choke point (a bridge no less) on their own. One of the biggest piles of shit on the planet. |

I heard Trump is going to promote tort reform and reformation of personal injury statutes in various states. I might be on board. |

Trump is so friggen busy beyond even his wildest dreams and that's just right now, wait till he takes office. He's going to do as little as possible in regards to things he really doesn't give a shit about. Healthcare reform, immigration, national security...those are the things Trump cares about and will be working on. Any other issue that comes up, weed, tort reform, gay marriage...he's either gonna cede to precedent (gay marriage) or pawn it off on the States (weed, tort reform). Those battles need to be won at a state level. |
