I don't think so. It seems unnecessary, but no way would I say it makes someone a bad person. Based on some conversations I've heard and had today, it seems MANY disagree. What say you? |

there are really no good deals on the day.Plus,it is just another nail in the coffin of America that we can't take a single day off and relax. I mean nothing closes ever not even on the 4th of July. Fucking shame. |

There are good deals all year round. That's what people don't get. It's just a sport for people to go out on Thanksgiving or Black Friday. If you're looking, you could have gotten the same damn TV at the same damn price one month ago. Or you can get it one month from today at the same price. Just get one of those apps that prices every store and every site. It will give you alerts on the best deals. |

yup, time to get furniture is July. Computers is June I think. you go buy when new models come out The only thing really to buy around this time is gift cardds when do the whole buy x amount and we give so x more. |

Stopped at a Shell on the way to my parents this morning for a pack of smokes and coffee. Hopefully I don't have too much bad karma coming my way from it. |

I am not really mad at department stores. People come out and shop so they are taking advantage of it. The things that kind of make me mad are places like McDonalds. My wife is a store manager for McDonalds and they have been forced to stay open the last few years on Thanksgiving. And it is stupid because no one goes there. They literally do their lowest sales of the year on Thanksgiving. They will sell some coffee in the morning and a few breakfast sandwiches and then they are dead for the rest of the day. |

That is bullshit. Give people some time to be with their family or at least get drunk while talking shit about their family. I do not like Thanksgiving food at all. I'd prefer just to order Chinese or pizza or something. |
