I loved ND until that incident with the young kid from BG falling to his death on a windy day. How could Kelly keep his job after that?

There's been a lot to hate about ND lately which is a shame.

I grew up watching ND games with my Dad as loyal Irish Catholics. That was his team. On the day he died, we were sitting watching a crappy Bob Davie squad beat the crap out of a highly ranked LSU squad.

They won one last one for the old man.

I wish they'd be a good program again.

I loved Notre Dame as a kid. Catholic family subway alumni. The 1971 Cotton Bowl made a huge impression on me and was the first time I really paid attention to football. All of that changed in the late 70s when I really became a fan of DePaul basketball. That game at the ACC where Garland hit the jumper and Ponsetto kicked the little radio-controlled car that was being operated by the leprechaun really put DePaul hoops on the map. I started to hate Notre Dame and anything associated with it. I think my dad still rooted for the football team but I just couldn't. My hatred really came to a head when Notre Dame killed DePaul's undefeated season and Kelly Fuckin' Tripucka grabbed the last rebound and fell down kicking his legs like a douchebag.
