Wife and I were leaving a restaurant last night and I came across a brand new car parked right in front. It really was a sharp looking car
and I gave her a quick nudge and said, " check this thing out, pretty sweet". That is when I noticed the badge on the front and realized I was
getting excited about a Buick. It really was a sharp looking car and appeared to be all decked out. :eye:

Note: I thought for sure there was a thread like this but I couldn't find it. IF anyone knows of one and can bump it I will ask Management to delete this one.

Did you dine out at your local Chevrolet automobile dealer? :)

Sorry T-B, but that Buick looks like every other new car I see. The ones I really notice are few and far between nowadays.

I do that with music all the time. I will hear a song think it's about 2-3 years old tops. Later I will do a little research and find out its been out since the late 90's- early 2000's.

This isn't a mid-sized car. It is large like a Cadillac, otherwise I would agree with you.

I do this a lot with movies. When they are on TV, when you hit the "Info" button, it displays the year the movie was made. That stuff is depressing. The other day for me, it was Wedding Crashers. It was made in a year that I will not mention so that Brick doesn't quote it. Eleven years ago! Wedding Crashers is eleven years old!

 That was the first thing I thought of when I got back to our own car. I can now see how smart a marketing slogan that was 5 years after the campaign started.

Signs of me getting old.

My right knee has hurt for a week and I'm not sure what I did.
I look forward to going to bed at 830 on a Friday night more than I do going to a friend's house for a party.
Having kids in general have made me feel really old.

Ding ding. Ours mostly sleeps like shit, even at 18 months, and wakes up around 4:30 or 5. I look forward to bed at 8-9 most nights, now.

The thing about old people is everything about them gets smaller. You know, their bodies get smaller. They move into smaller places. They sleep less time, they eat smaller meals. Except the car. The older they get, the bigger their car gets. I've never understood that.

You have to be able to tote around your oxygen and walker in supreme comfort. Probably could fit a Rascal in the trunk too.

I started high school 32 years after the end of WWII. WWII seemed like it was ancient history. I graduated high school 35 years ago. It seems like it was yesterday. It really makes me think about how recent the Civil War and even the American Revolution actually are.

A ton of gray hair growing by ears. I try to keep a bald fade haircut to keep it away. I'm just happy to still have hair in my late 30's as most of the men on my mothers side lose their hair in late 20s/early 30s.

The other sign of getting old. Leaving a restaurant "last night" this time of year and it's still light out.

I think about stuff like this all the time. Like how listening to classic rock today is like listening to Al Jolson in the 80s.

I am seeing more and more gray hairs, especially in my beard. I'm a man, I'm 40, and I still have all my hair, so I can't complain.

I do find myself grunting as I rise out of my chair at times. I have the knees, back, and ankles of a 60 year old.

The 20 month old sleeps great. The 3 month old sleeps like shit, and I feel like I've aged 10 years in the last 3 months.

However, I now know that I can function on about 4 hours of sleep.

Yay.
