Half of this board consists of lawyers. Meanwhile, not only do we not have a doctor on here(a real one), but we don't have anyone at all in the healthcare industry.

Conclusion: Doctors are worthy of the respect they are granted and actually have shit to do, while lawyers are the overpriced good for nothings we thought they were.

Please see "we thought they were". Reading comprehension is a skill.

Volunteering for clinical trials does not count.

Give oxygen if needed. Certified oxygen therapist. Board certified. Next question.

Next question is why do you drive all over the place training guys in your passenger seat on how to give oxygen and firing them for not remembering the directions to places? Usually that's an office setup.

They are hired to train and then get certification after 90 days. I have no control over the hiring process but I can end it if they are not up to company standards. If they cannot pass early training they fail. Like not following directions or falling asleep on the job. Simple enough for most but not all. Next question.

I could go to Med School right now if I had the extra time.

I completely finished the pre-med course curriculum at Illinois, and then, one day after finishing up just the day before at my hospital volunteer internship, I just walked out of my Kaplan MCAT prep course, took the LSAT without any prep, got a good score, and decided to go to law school because I had a change of heart about working in hospitals.

I just couldn't stand seeing people messed-up like that all of the time, every single day. It was pretty depressing. Doctors have to learn to live with or ignore seeing that stuff on a daily basis, and I just was not interested in following through to become that type of person.

Doctors are the TRUEST professionals in the core sense of the word - i.e. they profess their devotion to their job.

I still read medical journals and medical research papers because the field that I abandoned still somewhat fascinates me, but not enough to dive headfirst back in.

So you were about to be a soldier, but couldn't. About to be a doctor, but couldn't. Now you're a lawyer. You sure you weren't about to be President and just haven't spinned that yarn for us yet?

lol we are talking about things that happened when I was 18 and 21.

"About to be a soldier" is funny, too. I was thinking about joining ROTC - that is still quite a ways away from actually being a soldier there, Corporal Cavernosum.
