Let's take our focus off the Sox and their 5-10 year rebuild for awhile.

What topic do you find interesting now that you were too young or drunk to appreciate at the time?

Mine would be biology. I remember thinking there was too much minutiae at the time, but that's because I didn't see the bigger picture (and I was drunk/high for most of my college years).

I am sure mine would be finance related.

Not a do-over but more 'if I had to do it all over again' ... Game Theory and/or Cryptogrophy.

Economics. It bored me so much I had to drop the class twice. If I could go back I'd pretty much take a bunch of business classes at the same time but I also probably would have hated life doing it.

Legal Writing I. My effort set a lesser foundation for the next few years.

As a bean counter, you would appreciate this...

For one of my professional designations, I had to take a class called Global Financial Systems and Statutory Accounting... this was only three or four years ago, so I'd been out of college for quite awhile... absolutely brutal. I'm not a big numbers guy, but I always did fine in math classes. But trying to do that stuff as an adult... I didn't even remember half the terminology they used.

Ya, in retrospect I should have joined the math nerds and majored in mathematics instead of just minor. With my double-major in accounting & finance I just piddle around on CFMB all day and swear at Excel.

Being able to piddle around on CFMB all day just means you're efficient. That's what I've convinced myself, anyway.

None. The classes I found interesting I aced. The classes that bored me I'd zone out. Those same classes still hold no interest to me.

 my foundation was sealed long before I half assed legal writing I.

For me it would be Evidence. Turns out it was the only class in law school that actually mattered for my career.

I'd take it again to be doubly obnoxious because the theory was bullshit.
Still annoyed at that class.

Legal Writing is for robots. The people who do best in the class are those with the least creative minds. However, it was a great class. It changed my writing style forever to being much more direct.
