This is Al from Elgin posting (Im actually writing from, Kenosha however today). Ive noticed that everytime theres, a holiday round these parts the posting volume tends to dip. For example if the board, has say 30 postings per hour on a regular night that number declines everytime, theres a holiday. Clearly a link exists, between the time posters are free and the event, of a holiday. To test my hypothesis i will wait until the, next major holiday (new year's eve) to see if the board is as, dead as it is now. If it, is then we all can be certain that there will be less, posts whenever there is a major holiday.

I might be late to let you all know my findings because my lint roller busines's is picking up and i wont have much time to give you my thoughts. I will find the time to, write but I may be writing from Peioria and not Elgin when I do.

it's because the life-blood of this bored is posting while you're board at work.

btw, you can find nuggets of wisdom like this AND MORE in my new book "why the hell are all our jobs going to china?" -- be sure to check out forward by terry's speeps: it truly puts the "emo" in "emojis" =P

Al's Cafe in downtown Elgin is a hidden gem. There's a speak easy nearby and the Public House, also worth visiting. But three Metra stations in one suburban town...really?

They have good reviews on Yelp. The "Za" stands for pizza. Supposedly they have good pizza and they give a ton of fries when you order fresh cut fries.
