For us, it will probably be this weekend. We usually leave it up until the weekend after New Years, but the 7th-8th is a bit too long this year. The outside stuff usually depends on the weather. Fortunately, the next few days should be fairly reasonable temp wise and there is no significant snow forecasted. Last year the outside stuff was up for a long time, and in the hell winter of 2013, I could not get the lights down until March! (Obviously I did not turn the lights on after NYE). The inside stuff my wife has already started to slowly break down and put away. The tree will probably come down on Friday. |

We had or Xmas celebration on the 23rd since that is when the kids were home. I asked my wife if we could take the tree down Xmas Day. Needless to say she was not too happy with me. It will likely come down New Years Day. Thankfully last year we bought a 6 ft skinny tree and a bag to put it in. Once the ornaments come off I carry it down to the basement completely intact and put it in the bag until next year. No need to re-bend all the branches or any of that crap. |

I leave it up year-round. It's a protest of the War on Christmas. |

I haven't undecorated my tree in years so it makes the clean up easier. I just pick it up and carry it to a room usually after January 1st. |

Our tree was up a week and a half before Thanksgiving, because of the Disney trip. But, i liked it being up early since we "lost" a week on vacation. I may take it down Friday, kinda sick of it at this point. Christmas and Eve was very active this year. 6 round trips. |

We are looking at a long line of racism championships and some exciting young bigots for years to come. It's fun again! Go Cubs!

Didn't do any decorations this year as my mom had passed away earlier in the year and I just didn't feel like it. But normally, I put them up around the 15th and then keep them up for the full 12 days of Christmas, so three weeks total. Artificial tree, no lights or decorations outside. |
