The Sox lost once in the 12 playoff games they played. The Cubs lost 3 times in the World Series. Contreras, Buehrle, and Freddy Garcia would have tied the Cubs offense in knots. And the Sox bullpen would have been well rested to mow down anybody they would be called upon to face. Maybe the Cubs get a win against Garland. When Podsednik got on base against Lester, he would be standing at 3rd base 4 or 5 pitches later. Or he would score when Lester throws the ball away trying to field Iguchi's bunt. Sox in 5. |

I did it this way: Sox home field advantage; 2-3-2 Each team a 3 pitcher rotation -- the first three in the drop downs. Sox win in 6
