Yeah a TV show is the ticket to getting elected in 20.

Quote:
Hillary Clinton is considering another run for president – and is mulling the idea of launching a television talk show to soften the ground for 2020.

Clinton would be 73 years old if she were to challenge President Donald Trump – again – and win the White House the next time around.

Launching a TV program now would make her America's second-oldest female news or talk show host on the small screen, after only Joy Behar of 'The View.'

Author Ed Klein wrote Wednesday on his blog that according to a Clinton insider, the former secretary of state is open to the idea.

'She thinks being the host of a popular TV show would energize the Democratic Party base and her tens of millions of fans,' the unnamed source said, according to Klein.

'It's a way to make a comeback and position herself for another run at the White House starting in a year or so.'

Clinton, Klein writes, recently told a group of friends gathered at her Washington, D.C. home: 'I'll be back' – and delivered the line in an Arnold Schwarzenegger 'Terminator' accent as she raised a glass of wine.

A planned comeback as a presidential candidate for the third time would preclude the idea of running for mayor of New York City.

It would also take more lucrative opportunities off the table, including corporate boards and university chancellorships.

But the Clintons are among the nation's richest Democratic politicians, reaping hundreds of millions of dollars in speaking fees since Bill Clinton left the White House in 2001.

Does she not realize that she is an unlikable old hag? I mean anyone should've been able to beat Trump. She failed to do so. If the Democrats want a geriatric patient running, then go with Biden, he's at least likable. Does anyone think Biden wouldn't have swept PA, MI, and WI? He may have even turned Ohio.

I figured she would try to get Chelsea anointed senator from NY next. That must have been shot down because a better princess Caroline Kennedy wants it I read.

This won't happen. You know how everyone always says "Don't underestimate Trump - he will surprise"? No one ever said that of Hillary.

"so mahmoud, what do you for fun?"

"well you know, typical stuff. when i'm not "treating" american porn stars like the mail-order whores that they are (PROTIP: be sure to fuck them in a very cold room so none of their swine-like-sweat will befoul you) i'm busy doing everyday things, such as capturing, torturing, and ultimately decapitating peasants! to do this in style you wanna have your keepsake souvenir of a videotape of the ordeal submitted as evidence at your trial; then you're able to [once again] laugh in the face of said peasantry when you literally AND figuratively get off... right miss lohan?"

Nothing is more Hillary than a stilted pop-culture reference while holding a glass of wine. I am taking this very seriously.

I hope she doesn't run. As it stands now I still believe she'd be the best person for the job but I don't want to see her or any Clinton run for office in the future. She is a two time loser for President and it's time for her to allow someone the chance to take a stab at it.

I also think there is far two much second string qbing going on in the Democratic Party. The "anyone but she" revisionism currently in existence necessitates that the anyone be allowed to have at it. Let them have their shot at defeating the fool that is Donald Trump.

Lastly it is just time for the Clintons to exit politics. They have loomed large within the Party for the past 25 years. They have charged with ruining the Party by MANY on the progessive side and if that is the case then they need to leave in order for there to be proper reparation.

The Democrats will nominate a Blue Dog(or something very close) and call the bluffs of the regressive left that vow they won't vote for him.

My guess is the Democrat Party lineup at the first debate they have is going to look a lot like the Republican one did this last time. 10 or more people. There are more factions of the party that probably feel they were ignored and more candidates will throw their hat in the ring.

They have to really try and flip Texas this time. Not a half assed attempt like HRC either. With the hotbed of engineering/tech jobs in DFW/Austin/Houston no reason why you can't round up a million more votes.

He's definitely going to run but he's a fraud. No one does more grandstanding than him and the banks own him. Warren appears to be the most likely choice but I don't see any great options right now. Maybe Biden but he'll be really old.

The demographics of that state are changing rapidly. It's just a matter of time until Texas turns blue.
