Tremendous call on the coffee thing. I can't even remember the times I've said "hot" after large black coffee. In what fucking universe is someone ordering a large cold black coffee?

Yeah, I think hot is the default for coffee.

Thought about this with the other thread. If you tell me and JORR to pull up and wait for our food when nobody is behind us, we're gonna be annoyed. If you tell Rick to have a blessed day, he will try to get you fired. What are some other fast food pet peeves on the board?

I wasn't rude. Direct perhaps. Just from a practical standpoint, how is being rude going to further what you are attempting to do?

I treat all workers with respect. FF wants to lie and act like I don't though. It's pretty sad.

I think this was discussed in another thread recently but you have someone pull up in front of you at the drive thru
and then either order for an entire office or order for 6 people in the car and no one seemingly knows what they
want because no one has ever been to McDonalds before so they have to him and haw over the menu for 5 minutes.

I got somewhat annoyed the other day at Chicken & Salad Works because the guy in front of me must have been picking up for an entire office and he was paying for MANY different orders separately and one at a time. He may have even been a Grub Hub guy.

I think the example works much better the way you have explained it because I am sure it has happened to all of us at one point or another.
Not as common in the drive thru. People can be so cheap. What is so hard about buying on one ticket and then going back to the office and
shaking people down for what they owe you?

In the drive-thru, I don't like being handing the paper money with coins on top of it.

In my experience, it's not so much cheap as weird rigidness when it comes to money. I've had a few coworkers give me a crazy look when I was going out for lunch and they asked me to pick something up for them and i offered to pay for it when they pulled out their card.
